Photography

Commercial photography made in pairs for a photography class. Food is set in warm side light with foreground leaves, like a morning table, while tools and jewellery move to hard light on black reflective surfaces, so texture and sparkle turn sharp.

A studio study of light, side light, Rembrandt light, backlight, front light and under light, changing only the direction of light to see one face turn soft, sculpted, mysterious or uneasy. It then grows into “Who am I… switching”, a neon double identity, and a character shoot of Yasusada from Touken Ranbu, letting light tell the character’s story.

Photography × social media. I run my own photography account, shooting cosplay, portraits and studio work. Outside the studio I work with the weather, the hour and the place, harsh noon light, shadows in a corridor, green grass or a single candle all become part of the character, and in post each set is graded into its own colour.
